The world’s largest DJ convention held every year in Atlantic City, New Jersey has been pushed back from August, to November 16-19th. Several major festivals and concerts including Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Mobile Beat in Las Vegas have been cancelled or have provided a virtual experience instead of having patrons meet in person.
DJ Times and the DJ Expo teams have determined that this is something the DJ community needs. DJ’s around the world are scrambling for answers with such an uncertain future in the events industry. I wouldn’t expect to find all of the answers, but putting some of the industry’s brightest and most innovative minds in one place is bound to help.

It’s also a much needed moral booster for DJs who continue to have door after door shut in their face. From having venues suddenly shut down to social media platforms shutting down live streams because of copyright regulations, 2020 has been a rough ride for DJs.
“With its new dates, DJ Expo 2020 will take on a new agenda: to help the DJ industry bounce back from the unprecedented difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
If you already registered for the DJ Expo in August, your tickets will automatically carry over to the new date. You can register for the new dates at the DJ Expo website. With regards to safety, you can find the statement below by the DJ Expo. Are you planning on attending this years DJ Expo? Is it too soon or right on time? Let us know in the comments!
“Of course, health and safety will be priorities at DJ Expo. While we are establishing our own phase plans, be assured we are also working with the venue, the ACCVA and the exhibition industry, all of which are under guidance of both the CDC and the WHO. Additionally, we are bringing on-board a veteran show producer with extensive operational experience to ensure that we are executing the show beyond state standards.”
