This weekend thousands of DJs in the United States will see their clocks go back from 2am to 1am on Sunday, November 7th (Saturday night for us DJs). Daylight savings, which began in March, will come to an end and the U.S. along with several other countries will finally align with the rest of the world on “Standard Time”
What does this have to do with DJs? Well most DJs get paid on an hourly basis so if you are performing for an extra hour, make sure you’re getting paid for it!
Outside of that, get ready for it to be dark before dinner again until the Spring. Are you a fan of Daylight savings time? Let us know why or why not in the comments
